About the Designer / Resume

Paige Broadbent has been working in the professional design field for the past 6 years. She works primarily freelance in many different areas of design including Graphic Design, Web Design, Videography, Photography, Commissioned Art, and Private and Commercial Interior Design

She started working design for her love of the visually pleasing and creative, and her vast resume and experience shows just that. She first created a website as a teenager attempting to "reach the world." Her first website "Girls Rocking the World," (no longer online) started as an online forum and safe-haven for adolescent girls looking for friendship and an escape from the peer pressures of the outside world. Paige then continued to work creatively by designing her personal website, "Paige Christian, the Official Site," to promote her musicical endevours. She then designed, "Tails from the Fin," a website following the restoration of a 1974 Volkswagon SuperBeetle names "Shamu."

Paige continued her work in website design throughout her years in high school while working as the editer-in-chief for non-profit organization NBHSA's The Falcon Wingtips Newspaper. Designing not only the page layout, logo, and website, but writing articles and heading the editing department as well. After graduation, Paige moved to Gainesville, Florida to pursue a degree in Fine Art and Design at the University of Florida.

She began working ininterior and commercial design with her family's design build company DHPC, Inc., working as the Interior Design Consultant and Advertising Media Director on the team for The Riverhouse, a historical preservation project on River Road in Merritt Island Florida. While the project was haulted after only a few months due to funding issues, the Architecture bug caught Paige and her desire to build and creative visually dynamic spaces continues on. She went on to work with DHPC, Inc. on multiple interior design projects for residential and commercial use. Her well developed taste for interior design extends through the East Coast of Florida and on up to North Central Florida and can be seen in the lobby of the main center of The Gainesville Health and Fitness Centers in Gainesville.

And while she continues her loyalty to DHPC, Inc. who hired her as their designer in the very beginning of her career, she now consults and designs for businesses across the country including Wilson Funding Company and The Real Estate News Network in New York City, New England, Louisiana, and Central Florida. Paige is currently living in Gainesville, Florida finishing her BFA in Visual Arts at Flagler College. Her newest clients include non-profit organization Alexander Lowen Foundation, and book publisher Bioenergetics Press.
